Due to Russian aggression, staying in shelters and bomb shelters has become an integral reality for Ukrainians. As we approach the air defense zone, the number of shelling and the danger to life and health increase. The need for equipped shelters in these territories is obvious, especially when it comes to the safety of children.
The Ustinivska Village Council of the Kirovohrad region is a partner of the Devladivska Rural Territorial Community of the Dnipropetrovsk region in the project “Side by Side: United Communities”. The partner community allocated UAH 100,000 from its own budget to the Devladivska community to equip a shelter in the local gymnasium.
Now, schoolchildren will be able to stay safe during their studies thanks to the caring residents of the Kirovohrad region.
