Children from Mykolaiv region visit Korosten

As part of the Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities project, from June 30 to July 5, the Korosten community welcomed young guests from the Shevchenkivska community in Mykolaiv region, an area that has been severely affected by hostilities and temporary occupation.

This was more than just a visit—it was a chance for recovery through communication, a safe environment, and care. The young guests enjoyed a packed program: excursions, themed meetings, visits to youth spaces, swimming pool fun, getting to know the community, and much more. A special moment was the meeting with Korosten Mayor Volodymyr Moskalenko.

“Shoulder to Shoulder: Cohesive Communities” is about people. About the power of unity. About Ukraine. 💛💙
