Children from the Selydiv community, who are currently in Boryslav as part of the initiative “Side by Side: United Communities”, discovered Lviv region for themselves — a place without 24-hour sirens and alarms.
Free city tours and a visit to the dungeon of the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion were organized for them. The walk became a real journey of discovery: architecture, stories about the city, new impressions and sincere communication.
The dungeon of the museum gave special emotions — a mysterious space with a depth of history, which for many children was the first such experience.
And also — creativity. In the art workshop “Clay Circle” children worked with clay: they sculpted their own products, fantasized, laughed. After glazing and firing, their works will be sent to them by mail — as a warm memory of these days.
In times of war, such initiatives have special significance. Because they help children not only to emotionally unwind and relax, but also to maintain inner balance and faith in goodness.
Such experiences are important. Especially when shelling is heard at home every day.
