The other day, Boyarka celebrated City Day. A charity fair in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held in Victory Park, which was attended by educational institutions, volunteers, and charitable organizations.
An important part of the holiday was the signing of a memorandum of partnership between the Boyarka City Council and outpost communities of the Zaporizhzhia region: the Shyrokiv territorial community and the Tokmat city military administration. This is a step within the framework of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities”, which opens up new opportunities for cooperation and cultural exchange.
For the first time, a record was set in Boyarka – the most massive reading of Volodymyr Samiylenko’s poem “Ukraine”. A symbolic event that united 961 voices of representatives of different generations: schoolchildren, students, educators, cultural figures, residents, and guests of the community.
The city also opened a Veterans’ Space, created by the defenders themselves and their families. The space became a reality thanks to the support of the community and caring people. Once again, our fellow citizens prove that unity is the key to success.
