Chasov Yar is a symbol of Ukrainian resilience and indomitability. The residents of the community were forced to leave their homes due to deadly shelling by Russian troops. Most of them lost everything, people are forced to start life from scratch in a new city among new people. It is not easy morally and materially.
The partner of Chasovoyarska MVA in the project “Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities” is the Yasinyansk Territorial Community of Transcarpathia. The Humanitarian Center “My Chasov Yar in Kyiv” received necessary things and other humanitarian aid from the partner community for those who need it the most today. Once again, Ukrainians prove that there is no such thing as someone else’s grief.
The community leadership discussed areas of future cooperation, in particular in the field of veteran rehabilitation and work with families of defenders. The communities are ready to deepen the partnership in the future.
And on Independence Square, community representatives honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. They installed flags with the names of residents of the Yasinyansk community who gave their lives defending the Motherland.
Unity and support give strength to live and dream. We thank those who stand side by side in the most difficult times.
