Odessa brought together communities participating in the third wave of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.” The meeting was attended by communities from Odessa and their partners from Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Bukovina, and Prykarpattia regions. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the challenges faced by frontline territories and to find common ways to address them.
Participants shared their experiences, developed ideas for joint projects, and outlined areas for future cooperation.
An important outcome was the signing of memoranda of partnership. The Krasnosilska amalgamated territorial community in the Odesa region joined forces with the Dunayevetska TG in the Khmelnytskyi region, and the Serhiivska community in the Odesa region joined forces with the Letychivska settlement amalgamated territorial community. This opens up new opportunities for the exchange of experience and mutual support.
The Side by Side: cohesive community initiative proves that Ukrainian communities, regardless of distance, can act as a single entity. When we support each other, we build a sustainable present and a confident future for the country together.
