495 thousand for a mobile shelter for the Semenivka community

The Hrebinkivka settlement territorial community of the Kyiv region has transferred 495 thousand hryvnias in subventions to the Semenivka city council, which is in the Chernihiv region, for the purchase of a mobile shelter. This decision was the result of a working visit of representatives of the Hrebinkivka settlement council to Semenivka within the framework of the project “Side by Side: United Communities”.

The Semenivka community suffers from constant danger. Artillery shelling, drone attacks, and power outages occur almost daily. Even using generators here is risky: every noise can attract the enemy’s attention. Despite this, the community is holding on and doing everything so that people can live and work. Heating in Semenivka is provided by solid fuel boiler houses, near which there are not always shelters, so the money for its construction is very appropriate.

The support of the Hrebinkivka community is more than money. This is a signal that you are remembered, that there are those nearby who will lend a shoulder in the most difficult moment.

The “Side by Side” project creates exactly such connections. And each example of help proves: together we are stronger, together we are invincible.
