The Myrivska rural territorial community in the Dnipropetrovsk region is going through a difficult time, but it is not alone in its challenges. The Slavska settlement council of the Lviv region, a partner in the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” is always nearby. The residents of the Myrivska community have seen how much mutual support between communities in Ukraine can bring.
The subsidy provided by the Slavska community has become an impetus for the overhaul of water supply systems. This is a significant step, because it is about the basic need of people – to have stable access to water.
With this money, the Myrivska community purchased the necessary materials and carried out important technical work. It has already managed to replace more than 3,000 meters of emergency water supply networks, upgrade 12 wells, and reconnect streets to the repaired system. This improves access to water for local residents who face the threats of living near the front every day.
We sincerely thank our partners from the Slavska community for their care, concern, and willingness to help. Together we become stronger, overcome difficulties, and take important steps toward a stable and safe life for people.
