Trostianets Hospital received modern rehabilitation equipment from the Kitsman community – two cardio-orbitreks.
The equipment will soon be used to rehabilitate patients after injuries, operations and serious illnesses. Cardio-orbitreks allow you to combine efficiency and safety: they give a gentle load on the joints, while helping to strengthen the cardiovascular system, restore coordination of movements and endurance.
Those who undergo rehabilitation know: recovery is a long and difficult path. Therefore, such simulators literally change lives.
This is not the first joint project of communities that cooperate within the framework of “Side by Side”.
Previously, doctors from Trostianets underwent an internship in Kitsman, where they got acquainted with modern approaches to rehabilitation and palliative care. The experience gained is already being used in their work.
In parallel, the hospital is undergoing a major renovation of its premises. The plans include the opening of a modern rehabilitation department with 30 beds.
AI means even more chances for people to return to normal life.
