On New Year’s Eve, the front-line Chasovoy Yar MVA found itself in a difficult situation: a vehicle that was supposed to deliver humanitarian aid to the community’s residents broke down. It was a cargo that people living and working in conditions of constant danger were waiting for.
The Buchanan City Council responded instantly. Without delay and unnecessary formalities, the community provided transport and a team to transport the humanitarian cargo. Thanks to this, the aid reached the recipients on time. The bill went for hours, but the aid reached the recipients on time – those who need it most.
And this is a good example of how Ukrainian communities stand shoulder to shoulder. That there are no “foreign” problems, but there is a shared responsibility for people 24/7.
