Even in the most difficult times, there are things that remain unchanged. The Velykopysarivshchyna Borscht Festival was held for the fifth time. This time, the event took place in the hospitable Kirovohrad region in the Pryiutivska community on the 8th anniversary of its creation.
The festival, which honors the cultural heritage of Slobozhanshchyna, this time brought together two communities—Velykopysarivka from Sumy region and Pryiutivka. Their partnership was officially sealed within the national project “Shoulder to Shoulder: Cohesive Communities” on this very day. Thus, culinary tradition became the foundation for new ties, trust, and cooperation.
In addition to traditional and most recognizable Ukrainian dishes, festival guests enjoyed interesting master classes, entertainment for children, crafts, and souvenirs.
The funds raised at the festival were donated by the organizers to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
