Caring for children from frontline communities

One of the most important areas of interaction between communities in the project “Side by Side: United Communities” remains the recreation and health improvement of children from outpost communities. A number of other partner communities joined in creating happy moments and unforgettable childhood memories, so important and necessary at the present time.


🎨 Schoolchildren from the Darivska community of the Kherson region were hospitably received by families from the Zymnovodivska village council of the territorial community of the Lviv region. Local scouts organized an exciting game-quest for guests, sports competitions, after which the children created a picture together at a drawing master class. The Holi festival of colors gave unforgettable impressions – everything around literally sparkled with new colors.


🏔️ 32 children from the Balakliysk City Council of the Kharkiv region, together with their teachers, went on a 15-day vacation to Transcarpathia to the picturesque Yasinyansk territorial community. Guests will get to know the Hutsul culture and traditions, the unique air of the Carpathian Mountains and unforgettable impressions.


⚽️ Young guests from the Samarivsk City Council of the Dnipropetrovsk region visited the Zalishchytsk City Council, which is in the Ternopil region. Children can enjoy excursions, new acquaintances, participation in a football tournament and much more.


✨ Children from the Shyrokivsk community of the Mykolaiv region visited the Oleksandrivsk community, which is in the Kirovohrad region. Schoolchildren visited the Oleksandrivsk Center for Children and Youth Creativity, where they took part in classes and creative activities. The children also visited the village of Razumivka, where they visited the cultural center, library, village history museum, and architectural monuments – the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the “Black Raven” tract.
