On September 23, an event was held in Khust that united communities from different regions. In the premises of the Transcarpathian Regional Drama and Comedy Theater, 40 children from families of internally displaced persons from the Pokrovsky district, Bakhmut, Vuhledar and Kostyantynivka communities of the Donetsk region had the opportunity to attend a performance. It was specially brought by the Odessa Theater of Young Spectators.
The event was made possible thanks to cooperation within the framework of the project “Side by Side: United Communities” between Khust and Pokrovsky, as well as the support of the Life Charity Foundation and the Khust City Community.
For the children, it was an opportunity to spend time in a friendly atmosphere, distract from the realities of war and immerse themselves in the world of theater. The joy on their faces was the best confirmation of how important it is to organize such events.
