Children from outpost communities had unforgettable experiences

It is not necessary to remind once again that children and youth are our future. They deserve a happy, safe childhood, and this especially applies to children living in front-line areas, living and studying to the sounds of Russian shelling.

The communities participating in the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” are making every effort to ensure that these children experience, at least for a while, the peace and quiet of life without explosions and alarm signals.

  • Schoolchildren from the Stepnohirsk community of Zaporizhia region, thanks to the Poninkivsk AH of Khmelnytskyi, spent a week in the Carpathians in the picturesque Slavsk. The children went to the mountains, rode ATVs, created at master classes, and also visited Lviv.
  • Children from Verbkivska rural territorial community of Dnipropetrovsk region also visited Lviv region in partner Dobrotvirska village community. An interesting excursion to Old Lviv, as well as new friends, acquaintances and the warmest emotions made this trip unforgettable.
  • Children from the front-line Dergachivska city council of Kharkiv region and Shostka city council of Sumy region visited Kyiv region. The guests were expected to visit interesting institutions of the community and the capital, thematic meetings and unforgettable leisure.
We never tire of thanking everyone who, side by side, makes Ukrainian children happier.
