The most sincere support often comes from those who themselves are still learning to live in the big world. But they already know well what compassion, friendship and help are.
As part of the project “Side by side: united communities”, children from the Priyutivska community prepared gifts for their peers from the Komysh-Zoryanska community, who were forced to leave their homes due to the war and now live in Zaporizhia.
A charity event “Warmth of children’s hearts” was held in lyceums and schools. Children collected and prepared gifts for their peers:
stationery
books
sweets
homemade crafts
postcards with warm words of support and wishes for peace and a quick return home.
It is especially touching that all students — from kindergarteners and first-graders to graduates — joined the initiative. Everyone tried to put a bit of warmth into their gift.
The community representatives personally handed over the collected gifts to children from the Komysh-Zoryansk community.
This is not the first such initiative. Previously, children from the Priyutivsk community shared New Year’s gifts with their peers. And this time the action turned out to be just as warm and sincere.
