Ukrainian children from frontline communities deserve the same happy childhood as any other. Within the framework of the project “Side by Side: United Communities”, children’s recreation and health improvement is one of the key areas. Partner communities take an active part in this.
- Children from Soledarsk City Council of Donetsk region went on vacation to Drohobych City Council in Lviv region. The ancient city impressed guests with its architecture, historical monuments and unique natural landscapes.
- 22 students from Perelyubysk Lyceum Koryukiv City Council of Chernihiv region went to Yampil City Council of Mogilev-Podilskyi district of Vinnytsia region. Schoolchildren visited the Yampil dungeon, attended master classes and a tourism center, a water park, and got acquainted with local culture and traditions.
- Children of privileged categories from Pokrovska rural territorial community – Nikopol district, which is in the Dnipropetrovsk region, visited the Volodymyr city council. Games, master classes, interesting competitions, weather and quests awaited the children.
- Boys and girls from Sveska village council of Shostka district of Sumy region visited Bukovina. Competitions between children in various sports were held on the basis of the Rzhavinet secondary education institution and the children’s camp “Your camp”.
