On October 21, Mayor Natalia Dzyuba and her deputy Olena Fedyna visited the Novgorod-Siverskyi urban territorial community of Chernihiv region. This community has been living under constant shelling for a long time, but continues to hold on and restore life. The visit took place within the framework of the national project “Shoulder-to-Shoulder: United Communities”, within the framework of which a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Yagotynsk City Council and the Novgorod-Siverskyi urban territorial community.
During a meeting with the head of the district military administration of the Novgorod-Siverskyi urban territorial community, Oleksandr Seliverstov, deputies and employees of the city council, Natalia Dzyuba presented the community with a certificate for 500,000 hryvnias. The funds will be used to purchase materials to eliminate the consequences of shelling of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
Today, it is more important than ever to be together. Only side by side, combining humanity and mutual support, will we be able to survive and help those who are currently facing the most difficult trials.
