In the space of “Promprylad. Renovation” “Days of Crimea. Frankivsk region” took place. This is an event dedicated to culture, memory and the return of Crimea home. Here they talked about how culture helps to preserve our identity and unite communities even despite the war.
The main part was the discussion “Unity through culture: Crimea and the path to reintegration”. Representatives of the government, culture, and the public sector discussed how shared memory and interaction help restore ties between people.
The guests also saw the exhibition “Chronology of events: Crimea”. This is a visual history of the Crimean Tatar people, their struggle and indomitability.
During the event, the Permanent Representative of the President to the AR of Crimea, Olga Kuryshko, announced the upcoming memorandum with the project “Side by side: united communities”. Together, the communities of Ukraine will work on the reintegration of Crimea and support for the Crimean Tatars, Karaites, and Krymchaks.
Our common culture proves once again that Crimea is Ukraine!
