Gifts for children from frontline communities

New Year’s holidays are always a special atmosphere. They are the ones that are remembered for a lifetime from childhood with home warmth, joy and love.

For children from communities that became frontline due to Russian aggression, their happy childhood is destroyed every day by enemy shelling.

The project “Side by Side: United Communities” understands this and does everything possible to ensure that Saint Nicholas pleases those who need it most with care and gifts.

Caring people with big hearts made an effort to ensure that children’s smiles of happiness echoed despite the explosions and alarm signals.

  • As many as 300 kg of delicious gifts and an unlimited amount of heartfelt warmth were handed over by the Vyrivsk village council from the Rivne region to the children from the Dar’ivsk village council from the Kherson region;
  • Another community of the Kherson region, the Tyahynsk territorial community – an official community received surprises and greetings for its children from the residents of the Peremyshlyansk city council of the Lviv region;
  • The Pidberiztsivska rural territorial community of the Lviv region pleased the children of the Krasnosilska united territorial community of the Odessa region and the Pokrovska territorial community in the Dnipropetrovsk region with goodies, gifts and greeting cards.

Warmth, care and sincere support created an atmosphere of joy, hope and faith in a miracle for children from outpost communities. We thank all caring Ukrainians for the good that you give despite the extremely difficult challenges of the Ukrainian present.
