As part of the initiative “Side by Side: United Communities,” 40 schoolchildren from Kupyansk, a city that lives under shelling every day, came to Chernivtsi for spring vacation. This is not the first time the rear city has welcomed children from the outpost.
Here, for them, it is literally a different reality. Without worries, without constant tension, and with the opportunity to simply relax. And admire the picturesque ancient city.
This time, getting to know Chernivtsi began with a visit to the city council and a meeting with the mayor. Ahead are excursions, cultural events, creative activities, and new experiences.
Back in 2024, Chernivtsi and Kupyansk became sister cities, and later joined “Side by Side.” And since then, this cooperation has only expanded.
