The Darivska community-outpost in the Kherson region is constantly under fire from Russian troops. Local residents are faced with the consequences of numerous shelling. Life in such conditions is constant stress. At such moments, children who have the right to a happy childhood deserve special attention.
The Zymnovodsk village council of the territorial community of the Lviv region and the Darivska village council are partners in the project “Side by side: united communities”. For St. Nicholas Day, the residents of Zymnoy Voda, together with their children, prepared pleasant surprises for children from the Darivska community. These are warm things, gifts, drawings and handmade postcards with warm words of support.
The “Little Nicholas” initiative fills hearts with gratitude and much-needed moral support. Despite hundreds of kilometers, the children of the Darʼiv community feel the friendly warmth of their peers and their parents from the Lviv region.
We thank everyone who does things for the sake of smiles of happiness on the faces of little Ukrainians.
