At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Kramatorsk Lyceum No. 1 was destroyed by Russian shells. For almost 4 years, children studied online. Thanks to the partnership in the project “Side by Side: United Communities”, the Kramatorsk City Council and the Perechyn City Council of Transcarpathia managed to do the almost impossible. The Perechyn community provided a room, which was renovated by the end of the summer with joint efforts. On September 1, the children’s commotion again filled the walls of the relocated Kramatorsk Lyceum No. 1 to Perechyn. Now students from Kramatorsk and other front-line communities study here.
