New partnership!

Today, within the walls of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, another partnership was formed as part of the national project “Shoulder to Shoulder: Cohesive Communities.” As a result, a memorandum was signed between the Lysets Village Council (Ivano-Frankivsk region) and the de-occupied Savynska community (Kharkiv region), which is located near the front line.

Both communities are actively involved in the project and already have partners, but inspired by the results of fruitful cooperation, they decided to establish another partnership because they do not want to stop there.

The memorandum provides for broad support: from the delivery of humanitarian aid to participation in the restoration of damaged infrastructure, the organization of children’s and sports events, assistance to veterans, and psychological support for residents of the outpost community.

Particular emphasis was placed on creating a safe environment for children, cultural cooperation, volunteer interaction, and maintaining economic activity through the relocation of businesses.

This partnership is further proof that Ukrainian communities are ready to unite, act together, and support each other.
