Traditions that unite: a cultural initiative of two communities

As part of the Shoulder to Shoulder: Cohesive Communities project, the Dubrynytsko-Maloberezhna community in Zakarpattia and the Siverska Military Administration in Donetsk launched a joint column called Traditions that Unite.

This is a space where unique Ukrainian customs, songs, legends, crafts, family histories, and local cuisine are preserved and brought to life. The section is already being filled with real materials on the pages of local cultural centers, and with each new publication, we see how diverse and vibrant our cultural heritage is.

Anyone who wishes to do so has the opportunity to join in and share the interesting and unique traditions of their native land with the wider public.

By developing and supporting such a cultural initiative, we preserve the extremely important connection between generations, between the past, present, and future.
