In June, as part of the Side by Side: United Communities project, students from the Kostyantynivka community joined the Ukrainian Poetry in Real Time flash mob, initiated jointly with the Uzhhorod City Council.
It was not just a recitation of poems, but a lively cultural dialogue that united children around the Ukrainian language. Classics and modernity, new names and favorite lines — all of this sounded sincere, talented, and genuine.
The online format helped bring communities together despite the distance — after all, the power of language knows no borders.
Another piece of good news: the flash mob will continue in August, with new participants, new voices, and new poetic discoveries ahead. Culture and language are important weapons that make us strong and invincible, unite us, and inspire us.
