As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities”, the first visit in the “region-region” format took place. Partners from the Rivne region visited outpost communities of the Chernihiv region.
Representatives of communities and OVA took part in the meeting, moderated by the head of the Chernihiv administration Chaus Viacheslav. The Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Ryabykin joined it online.
They talked about the prospects and areas of cooperation, as well as the challenges faced by outpost communitie
This is a new stage in the development of the initiative, which has proven in a year that it works. 1,170 communities. 1,135 partnerships. Hundreds of solutions that really help people – from recovery to daily support.
Communities are looking for solutions together, sharing experience and strengthening each other.
And this process is only gaining momentum. The expansion of cooperation between communities continues. The day before, a memorandum was signed between the Mensk City Council of Chernihiv Oblast and the Myroniv City Council of Kyiv Oblast.
Today, three more partnerships were concluded between the Chernihiv Oblast and the Rivne Oblast:
– between the Dobryansk Settlement Territorial Community and the Zarichne Settlement Territorial Community;
– between the Dobryansk Settlement Territorial Community and the Derazhnye United Territorial Community;
– between the Makiivsk Rural Territorial Community and the Pryvilnensky Territorial Community.
Now is the next step.
Cooperation not only between communities with communities, but entire regions. Which unite to make decisions faster, better coordinate resources. And systematically restore the country.
Soon, the regions – Chernihiv Oblast and Rivne Oblast – will sign a memorandum within the framework of the new format.
This is literally a new dimension of cooperation. It is important not to stop at the community level, but to move further and scale this interaction.
