On November 20, a public dialogue “Side by Side: Creating the Future Together” was held within the framework of the National Unity Forum. Participants, partners, and the team of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project summed up the interim results, shared their experience of participating in the project, and outlined the prospects for its future development. After the completion of the panel discussions, several Ukrainian communities signed memorandums of cooperation within the framework of the fourth wave of the project:
- Krasnosilsk United Territorial Community of Odessa Region and Pidberiztsivska Rural Territorial Community of Lviv Region;
- Balakliya City Council of Kharkiv Region with Uzhhorod City Council;
- Kupyansk City Military Administration of Kharkiv Region with Boryspil city community of Kyiv region. For Kupyansk, this is the 12th partnership in the project.
- the memorandum of cooperation was signed by the project manager Mariana Tomin and the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Olga Kuryshko. This opens up the possibility for joint initiatives and demonstrates to the civilized world that Crimea is Ukraine.
More than 1,100 communities of Ukraine are already participating in the project “Side by Side: United Communities”. This testifies to the humanity, unity and incredible unity of Ukrainians, which the entire civilized world sees.
