Spaces that hold the community together

The Lyman community, together with partners from different regions of Ukraine, continues to create spaces where people can receive support, reconnect, and feel confident — even far from home.

In Kremenchuk, the Lyman community space for displaced people will soon open. The hub is being created as part of cooperation in the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.” And it will become not just a service center, but a place of care and unity.

Here, specialists from various fields will help Lyman residents with:
document processing,
social protection and humanitarian support,
education and medical issues,
integration into the new community.

They also took care of the little ones, creating their own space for them. While parents are busy solving adult problems, children will be busy with children’s things: games and creativity.

And in order for the assistance to be more effective, they took care of the feedback. The directions of further work are formed taking into account the wishes and needs of people.

The Korsun-Shevchenkivsk community from Cherkasy region gave a new breath to the Yampil village library-branch.

As part of this partnership, the Yampil village library-branch was provided with a new space, where it is gradually resuming its activities.

The library is coming to life step by step: book exhibitions, thematic corners, ideas for future events for children and adults are appearing.

The space is becoming a place for meetings and communication, creativity and support, reading, conversations and new ideas.
