In the most difficult days, it is the cohesion of communities that becomes decisive.
Savynska territorial community of Izyum district during long power outages, the community was forced to completely switch to working from generators. They ensure the functioning of wells and sewage pumping stations, mobile communications, inviolability points and social infrastructure facilities.
But working on generators has its price: every day – about 1000 liters of fuel. Even with reserves, they run out very quickly.
When the situation became critical, Savynska community turned to partners in the project “Side by Side: United Communities” for help. The response was immediate – despite the fact that communities across the country are currently experiencing energy difficulties.
Everyone responded!
Someone promptly provided fuel, someone – funds to purchase it.
Thanks to this assistance, the Saviny residents were able to keep critical systems running during the most critical period. With such support, each of us feels that we are together even in the darkest days.
