2.5 million hryvnias for the installation of shelters for the outpost community

Within the framework of the project “Side by Side: United Communities”, the Hlobynska community of Kremenchuk district from Poltava region was supported by the Semenivka city council of Novgorod-Siversky district of Chernihiv region. By decision of the city council, 2.5 million hryvnias were allocated for the installation of block-modular shelters. They will provide people with temporary protection from debris, blast waves and bullets.

Residents of the Semenivka community live under constant threat of shelling. New shelters will allow people to feel safer and help preserve their lives and health.

In addition, the Hlobynska community plans to help Semenivka with the restoration of buildings of local healthcare institutions. These are current repairs so that hospitals and outpatient clinics can work in proper conditions.

The assistance will not be limited to infrastructure. Humanitarian support and joint socio-cultural events are also planned. This will not only improve living conditions, but also strengthen ties between communities.
