Two Ukrainian cities — Okhtyrka in Sumy Oblast and Mukachevo in Transcarpathia — continue their long-standing cooperation. The memorandum within the framework of the project “Side by Side: United Communities” opened up new opportunities for joint development for Mukachevo and Okhtyrka.
This time, the communities held a joint art event — the family holiday “Easter Paradise”.
The event united children, teachers, parents and everyone who joined in preserving Ukrainian traditions. The focus was on Easter egg making. This is one of the oldest symbols of Ukrainian culture, which personifies life, goodness and hope.
The holiday also included master classes on Easter egg painting and an exhibition of works. The participants not only learned painting techniques, but also learned more about the meaning of ornaments and symbols. And, of course, they exchanged experiences.
