Children from the front-line Siversky community were convinced of this. Thanks to the partnership with the Durynytsky community within the framework of the project “Side by Side: United Communities”, they set off on an educational and educational trip to Austria.
For children who grew up to the sounds of war, the trip became a real event and a breath of fresh air.
They got the opportunity to see another country, feel a different rhythm of life and get new impressions.
On the way, they stopped in Transcarpathia – in Kamianytsia, where they visited an ancient castle. And this excursion became the first touch of European history.
And ahead – Burgenland, one of the oldest historical regions of Austria, known for its castles, palaces and ancient traditions. So the young travelers were able to see for themselves, not from textbooks, but from their own eyes, that Ukraine has long been a part of Europe.
In Austria, the schoolchildren were warmly welcomed by local entrepreneur Franz Fabian, who hosts the children in his hotel.
Ahead is an introduction to the culture of Burgenland, excursions and new experiences.
And a reminder that Ukraine is Europe.
